We heard great news this week that CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) doctors have reviewed Isla's records and imaging and want to have her come there for consults, imaging, and tests.
We really have felt the Lord leading us to CHOP - we do not know what the future holds, but we feel relief to have more, very experienced, eyes see Isla and we pray for answers for our girl.
In a few weeks, we will be heading to CHOP for a weeks worth of appointments. From all of our research, CHOP is the best place to be heading for Isla. They have a Thoracic Insufficiency Syndrome Center - which is a major diagnosis that Isla is facing. These teams of doctors that specialize in Isla's specific needs are ranked #1 in the country. We are grateful and speechless at how all details fell into place and can only say the Lord is making a way! Praise Him!
Philadelphia...here we come!




These days are not easy for our family. The unknowns and what we have been told previously by doctors is hard to ignore...We have felt "weary" these days...
We cling to God's faithfulness. We strive to keep our eyes fixed on him.
Sometimes the day to day happenings can feel so hard to do.
We love our little girl so very much and knowing what she is facing is heartbreaking.
Our hearts hurt and our minds feel full.
We are so thankful we have a heavenly father who understands, loves us unconditionally, and cares for us.


We are so thankful for the comfort we have from the Lord.

We keep taking things a day at a time, asking for wisdom and knowing that the Lord knows our needs before we even do.

We have such mixed emotions with Philadelphia - It truly is so amazing how all details came together for us to take our Isla girl to be seen by these amazing doctors.
We do struggle with fear of what they may say.
We cling to the Lords faithfulness - we have seen the amazing ways he has worked in our sweet girl's life, in our lives, for us as a family...
We press on knowing our strength is not our own. We are weak, but he is strong.

We appreciate all the encouragement and support...every text, email, message of encouragement really helps our days. Knowing people are praying brings us great comfort. We love that our girl is being lifted up to the Lord through all of your prayers. Please keep praying for her, for us, and please ask others to pray!
